We came to Bulgaria for the first time in April 2005 in search of a new adventure in life and a country in Europe as different as possible from the UK. We are very pleased to say that we have found our new adventure here in beautiful Bugaria. Life here in Radilovo is very different. We have found a village which has a stunning location and a perfect geographcal position for exploring the wonderful scenery from the snow capped peaks of the Rila and Pirin mountain ranges to the flower covered valleys and beautiful gorges and lakes of the mystical Rodopi mountains.

The winters here may be a surprise to some, with low temperatures and regular snowfall. From November until April Bulgaria turns into a real winter wonderland, with world class ski resorts, cities with open air ice rinks, ice fishing on frozen lakes and snow covered pine forests perfect for walking and enjoying the crisp clean air. It really is a country for eveyone. 

We are situated 1 hour from Sofia and 30 minutes from Plovdiv these are Bulgaria's two largest cities connected by the main highway to Istanbul the E80. We are 15 minutes from Pazardzhik, a traditional market town and only 5 minutes from Peshtera.

We can arrange pickup/drop off from either Sofia or Plovdiv airport. We have an extensive file on excursions for your perusal here in the apartment. This includes drive time and cost.
